In Young Women we were challenged to write a response to this question...
If you were given a Million dollars to do only charitable things with, what would you do?
I think I would give most of it to the Fast offerings, the humanitarian projects, and the educations fund that is run by the church. They have no middle men and the money will be used properly to help those truly in need. I think I would want to help buy my married kids a modest home and put some money in trust for the unmarried ones but even if I gave them each $150,000 each I have so many kids I would run out of money real quick. It's sad that $1,000,000 doesn't go very far these days. I'm so thankful to be in YW with Juli. When I got called a few weeks ago she said, "I can't think of anyone who would be better." I think that was the greatest compliment I received especially coming from my almost teenage daughter. This is exciting especially that Taylor is Young Men's president. We're going to have so much fun. We had a blast at the beach on Tuesday. We probably kept them too late but everyone was having fun scarfing smores we just stayed and stayed. It was such a perfect night...not too hot and not too cold...just right, like Goldilocks would have liked it.
