I went to Disneyland with Susan and Bev Hatch. Just the 3 of us, no kids. We strolled everywhere because Bev has a bum leg. I realized I never stroll anywhere. It was quite nice not being in a hurry. I took Juli to High School Musical 3 with 3 of her friends when Taylor was on his camp out. It was cute and girly. I'm glad Juli came last when I have more patience and time and money to spend on her. She is quite spoiled but I am teaching her how to work and she is a great helper.
I had my stake meeting on Thurs. night and I kept making comments that made everyone laugh and then in turn made them make funny comments. I really had fun in a meeting. I didn’t think that was possible. For example…Pres. Tanner was going over some dates for next year. He said we should try and not have something every Sunday so people don’t have to go somewhere every week. I said, “Where is that list? I’d like to not have to go somewhere every Sunday. Put me on that list!” Then everyone agreed. It started with that and just escalated. Good times.
Taylor had his overnighter where a couple of the scouts peed on the fire and pooped outside their tent and then one of them stepped in his own mess. What a chop. How ironic. Dumb scouts.
We’ve had quite the weekend. Caleb and Phillip and Mike took over the house again for a couple of days to record 8 songs. It was so loud that we could not be here. We hung out at Josh and Erika’s for the day. You could hear the noise all the way at the Simmons. They had amps in every room and cords were going everywhere. They were excited to get them done. We were excited to get our house back.
Chaz ran his league finals at Mt. SAC. He never knows what his time is but he always says at least I didn't come in last. He is in excellent shape and he is really playing the piano a lot. We got a free baby grand a couple of weeks ago. As soon as we got it fixed and tuned he started playing all kinds of fun things. I like Sat. in the Park by Chicago and Linus and Lucy. He's been playing the Ben Kweller song "In Other Words". I'm glad he's discovering his talents. He's a great young man.

I will never understand the fascination with outdoor defecation! Why? I kind of get the peeing on a campfire, but pooping? How does that make it through the good idea/bad idea filter? Do we need to invest in new brain britas?
