Oh Fiddle DD is my life's motto. There is always so much, I can't do it all so I have adopted Scarlett O'Hara's saying, "Oh Fiddle Dee Dee I'll think about that tomorrow." I can't believe that Halloween's over! Juli was Dorothy, Chaz was a tetris block dressed as a ninja underneath. We did the traditional church activity and then trick or treating. Chaz and Juli went with some friends and Taylor and I watched Ghostbusters. A group of kids ended up here and watched it again. I couldn't stay awake the 2nd time through. Earlier I helped Juli's class tie dye shirts and then I brought in homemade ice cream for the class. I'm amazed at how many kids have never had homemade ice cream. I went home and frosted 30 cupcakes for the church halloween party and threw on my cheerleader costume from the teen girl squad on homestarrunner.com. Our stake YW presidency dressed up for the Halloween dance on Sat. Most of the teenagers knew who we were. Taylor went as an eye chart...He had about 2 min. to decide if he was going in costume or not. We made Halloween cookies last Sunday and had a great time decorating them. Sundays are always the best. Everyone comes over for a yummy dinner and then we all just have fun playing games and watching movies and hanging out together. We went to Tyler's Halloween program at his preschool last week. He was the best singer in the class. Juli and I had so much fun listening to them. He wouldn't tell us what he was going to sing. I was impressed that he being 4 could keep a secret for so long. He was the cutest red Power Ranger. Chaz's choir performed on Thurs. night. It was so fun. They did a medley of about 30 Broadway songs. When I saw the Boy to girl ratio I knew why Chaz likes choir so much. Theres about 15 guys and about 100 girls. lol This Prop 8 initiative is taking over everyones life. Everyone I am close to is involved in some way. We just keep praying that it will pass. If it doesn't I know the Lord knows whose side I'm on and the work our family has done. Taylor and I have been asked to be one of the team captains for the emergency plan for our ward. We have to let 12 families know who we are and explain this mock emergency drill we are having on Nov. 15. About 8 or 9 are totally inactive and might give us strange looks but for FHE "we're on a mission from God"(-Blues Brother's) to get the word out. That day is the Primary program practice at 11 am so I hope we're not one of the families picked to really act out one of the scenarios. I was asked to help lead the program a few days ago so I have to learn a couple of the songs real fast. This is Juli's last year in the Primary program. Weird. That's always my favorite Sunday of the year. You never know what to expect. :)
