On good Friday we made sugar cookies and dyed 12 doz. eggs.
We did 25 BRETT eggs and whoever found them today got a gold dollar coin. The day before Easter we went to see Mama Mia at the Pantages theatre in Hollywood. It was really fun. 20 of us went. Taylor and Josh went early to downtown for a Nike / Acuvue camp thing for HS athletes. Taylor is starting to be on a panel of Doctors that help athletes. He flies to Portland for a training in a couple of weeks. On the way the 101 freeway was a parking lot soTaylor and Josh navigated me through side streets to the theatre. It was weird. I was driving blind. I had to rely solely on what they were telling me to do. It was like the Holy Ghost…sort of. I just kept listening to them and following their directions and amazingly I ended up at the parking lot. We just barely got into the theatre before it started. Good times. Easter Sunday we got a phone call at 7:15 am reminding us that our family was supposed to set up the chairs for church today. Juli and I had to be there at 8:15 for choir prac. Yes on top of trying to get Easter dinner ready for 35 people we did it. As I watched Taylor and Chaz set up the chairs while Juli and I sang I thought how much I love TAylor. He’s always trying to do what’s right. Chaz too for that matter. Neither one of them complained when I woke them up an hour earlier than expected and they got up, got ready, and did their duty. I just love that about Taylor. I'm glad I married someone like that….faithful and hardworking. We all had a fun Easter together.
